By incorporating the hand-woven Pano di Pinti, a unique social and cultural symbol of Guinea-Bissau, I reveal the diversity of my country & its people. Every piece has its own story, symbolism, identity, and status. The motifs derive from nature, animals, the sea, and social happenings, all unique to my country and to me.
